Day 63 Update

 

Day 62 - this unique little town definitely has us on our toes.  Their was a parade last night and a festival today Saturday 4/22.

I have a great profession back into travel over $3200 in earnings this month has definitely got me helping myself back up from the financial drought. Corey is still working. We are planning the build of our greenhouse now.

Also, huge update  - got new panels and ordered new batteries so we will be updating and fixing our solar situation 

So many things happen so fast, but the mountain is now green and the winter stag is gone. Water is flowing all over and the turtles are abundant on the roads and creek beds. 

My little man is not little he is at least 6ft now and does the brush burning every night with his mama that we can.

Over 59 days - Looking inside our little town

    

 So we have been here 55 days and there are so many things we have experienced so much in the time. We have met friends and learn to avoid others. There are so many things this town lacks for the people that live here. I wish I could bring the assistance that the big towns get and share it with the town here. 

So many young people here with no life experience and little opportunity, but the this town has the biggest potential. There are the poorest of poor here that life their best life, and there are the richest of rich and you would never know to stand by him. This town has no judgement, and accepts all walks of life that comes to settle. 

Yesterday was Day 58 and we drove to Poplar Bluff, MO to the "City" and it was a migraine day for me. So I was not very excited. 

Today is Day 59, and its another migraine day but took meds early. I now have garlic sprouting and lettuce. My potatoes are large plants I need to mound again. I got my greenhouses up and filling them up. We got the out door kitchen enclosure build. Cleared a cabin spot, but we hope to have 2 cabins and another storage before winter. Alot of work but all will pay off.
